Fiddleheads

Sculpture in Olbrich Gardens

269. Sculpture

Fiddleheads (ferns) in the Olbrich Botanical Gardens. I’ve always wished real fiddleheads were planted around this sculpture. A fiddlehead amidst a lot of little, green fiddleheads.

Very cool sculpture. I agree it would be great to have ferns planted all around!

That would be cool, but this sculpture is even cool all by itself! Neat!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Love this sculpture….have you ever had fiddleheads served as a sidedish? I haven’t, but some people can’t wait for the spring to harvest them. They’re supposed to be fabulous!

A graceful sculpture of a graceful plant – I love fiddleheads, too.

I love the shapes, a golden spiral each spring.
