Sculpture Poolside

72. Curvy

72. Curvy

A day in late spring touring the gardens. Overcast and cool, but the rain held off long enough to tour the eight different gardens at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison. This is the Sunken Garden and its centerpiece is an 80 foot long pool. It was the original garden when the Olbrich opened in the 1950s. I searched several sites trying to identify this curvy sculpture, but without success.

It kinda looks like an abstract fish! What a neat pool area, this looks like it was beautiful!

It’s legs, isn’t it? What a beautiful setting and your photo makes me want to be there. Very peaceful.

So now I’ll have to try to decide if it’s a fish or legs. 😀 It looks like a very beautiful place anyways. /Viktoria – http://morrdrakens365.wordpress.com/
