132. Growing

Imagine the power needed for that sprout to crack the chestnut shell. It may not last long, but so far this spring, it has been steadily growing.

    And we humans think we’re the only living beings with a will to live! Even the plants show determination to survive. Humbling, isn’t it?

    An amazing shot. I hope you keep photographing it as it grows. I’d love a sequence!

    This looks like the opening shot of a time-elapse sequence. Will we come back tomorrow and gather under the spreading chestnut tree….

    All living things have an innate will to live. I’ve often wondered how God created that tiny delicate little bit of a sprout that would snap under our fingers to where it could be so strong to fracture a shell like this one. Amazing, isn’t it? A testament to life.
