It is Spring, and lambing is in full swing at the A-Z Farms in Oregon, Wisconsin. Thus far, 167 lambs have been born in the last two weeks. 91 ewes have had their babies; 19 ewes are still waiting as of 8 am on Sunday, March 22.

The Lamb Scoreboard: 28 single births, 44 sets of twins, 17 sets of triplets, no quadruplets yet.

    Curious look on the ewe’s face. I can’t tell if she’s thinking “Hey what are you doing there?” or making sure she has the right lamb. Definitely a sign of spring in the northern hemisphere- new farm babies.
