Polar Bear

291. Relaxation

258. Relaxation

After climbing on the rock formations and taking a cold shower under a stream of icy water, the polar bear flopped down on this outcropping and took a bit of a rest. He looks quite comfy, considering he’s not got the softest bed in the neighborhood.

When you have three inches of blubber under your skin you carry a soft matress with you, some of the icebergs they live on are a lot harder than that comfy looking rock and what a great photo for you to capture.

He looks so comfy! I wish our zoo had polar bears, but it’s definitely to warm for them here.
