Waiting on Spring

Mid-March. Ground is just beginning to thaw after a few days of temps over 60˚F. If you step upon the ground, you squish into mud.

I am definitely waiting. Waiting on spring.

Is that the quintessential US Rural shot, it seems so from here, that is how most Aussies think of US Rural life. Great Photo.

So pretty! Quite a peaceful scene, especially for urban dwellers, I think….

It’s like the farm is just holding its breath. The bright foreground and the more subtle sleepy background helps to give the impression of waiting.

This is lovely and wonderfully composed. Certainly defines mid-west rural.

Beautiful, very peacful shot. I really like the blueish-grey weathered barn/shed in between the red ones.

Love it! Hope you frame it to be hung! Makes me homesick. 😦

Love the plowed fields, the straw still standing from last year’s crop. The fresh red of the barn. The weathered look of the other building, and then the red echoed in the other barn. The trees look like they are about to burst forth buds. In another week, this scene will change dramatically. Love it love it!

Great colors. I love the contrast between the brown grass and the deep blue sky.

Won’t be long before you can catch the corn comung up in the rich soil. Happy Spring

It conveys a sense of peace just looking at it. Makes me want to jump right into the photo. Just lovely.
