Two for One – One

59. Colored Glass

274. Selective Focus

I like these two photos (for February 6 and February 7) as a set. So I thought I’d do a 2 for 1 post.

Here’s the first way of looking at this stained glass door.

I enjoy stained glass windows. I find the colors and the patterns interesting. Your captue picks up these elements and the patterns outside. Nice capturs.

Is it a coincidence that the window is Green and Gold? Was a Packer fan the artist?

Both are really great, I like the detail of the glass and nice bright green colors. I do that same sort of thing when I take my shots. Some things in or out of focus of the same main object is a great idea. I’ve said here before my kids say Mom takes pictures of every blade of grass from all 4 sides.

I like the second one — it’s clarity and lines and color.

Both of these are great photographs each with it’s own character, lines, focus, colors.

That’s a good idea to feature two dramatically different shots of the same thing for different themes. I love the detail in the second shot…

Same scene different cropping and focus gives stunning results in both.

I like the top one where you can see the trees thru the glass. Both of them have wonderful colors! Great job.

They are both well done, it is a great idea to have both with a different emphasis. Wonderful color!
